The treatment works by injecting a hyaluronic acid based dermal filler into the lips to build shape and definition and add volume where needed.

A very common complaint I hear from my clients is having a thin top lip. By using a technique called tenting, I am able to lift the lip to create vertical height without adding too much projection, thereby balancing out the top and bottom lips.

Others may want to add volume into their lips due to their natural shape or to replace volume which has diminished due to age.

0.5ml is suitable for a subtle top up. 0.7ml is perfect for first time fillers or a more noticeable top up, and 1ml is recommended for a more obvious result.

Treatment Time
Allow up to 1 hour (includes numbing time).

Pain Level
Numbing cream is provided when you come for your appointment. Some clients may feel discomfort during the procedure like a scratching, pricking feeling. You may experience swelling and tenderness afterwards and you can take paracetamol and apply ice if needed.

Results
Results can be seen immediately. You may experience some swelling and bruising after the treatment but this will go down within a few days.
